Key West Streets Are Filling With Amazing Sailboats
Sailboats and crews from around the world will compete in the regatta, this year presented by Nautica. The race features world-class competition and yachting teams from more than 12 countries and 24 American states. Courses are set over an 8-mile stretch of the Atlantic Ocean just off Key West’s south shore and inside the continental United States’ only living coral barrier reef. To view the action, fans can book seats on spectator boats ranging from excursion catamarans to historic tall ships. And in the evening you can rub shoulders with the world’s best sailors all around Key West.
Our ‘Stay Longer – Get More Package’ is available for this event. You can walk or bike from any of our hotels to either Smather’s Beach or Fort Zachery Taylor Park for viewing. Race Village is located at the Truman Waterfront this year; an easy walk from any of our Historic Key West Inns.

Powerboat Championships, Key West 2010, Boats Are Airborne & Roaring
Momentarily airborne at 100mph, then landing with a resounding thump, you can hear and feel the excitement of the drivers and spectators watching as the powerboats fly by!
